Realizou-se entre 21 e 30 de Maio no Complexo da Plataforma de Serviços para a Cooperação Comercial entre a China e os Países de Língua Portuguesa, o curso presencial de formação em matéria fiscal, organizado pela Academia Fiscal de Macau no Quadro da Iniciativa “Uma Faixa, Uma Rota” e coordenado pela Direcção dos Serviços de Tributação da Administração Tributária do Estado na Zona de Cooperação Aprofundada entre Guangdong e Macau em Hengqin. Foram convidados 9 países de língua portuguesa (incluindo: Angola, Brasil, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Guiné Equatorial, Moçambique, Portugal, São Tomé e Príncipe e Timor-Leste), com a participação de um total de 18 trabalhadores dos organismos fiscais.

Foram convidados os trabalhadores dos organismos fiscais oriundos de 5 países de língua portuguesa (designadamente, Angola, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique e São Tomé e Príncipe) para participarem no curso.

Mr. Iong Kong Leong, Director of the Financial Services Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, President of the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Academy of Macao, and Director of the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Capacity Enhancement Group, attended the 4th Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Forum in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and delivered a speech titled Deepen Mutual Learning and Cooperation and Work Together for Capacity Enhancement. The 4th Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Forum (BRITACOF) themed “Improving Tax Environment” was convened in Tbilisi, Georgia on 11 September 2023. More than 300 delegates, including 25 heads and deputy heads of tax authorities from 32 jurisdictions and, representatives and experts from 10 international organizations and world-famous enterprises attended this event onsite and remotely.

On June 9th, the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Capacity Enhancement Group (BRITACEG) organized an exchange program, gathering the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Academy (BRITA)·Macao participants to visit the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin (hereafter referred to as Cooperation Zone). The BRITACEG’s Director, the Director of the BRITA·Macao, and the Director of the Financial Services Bureau of Macao, Mr. IONG Kong Leong, together with 13 tax officials from Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, and Sao Tome and Principe, participated in the Cooperation and Exchange Conference on Taxation in Support of the Promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and visited the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation between Guangdong and Macao, and the Zhuhai Hengqin Bringbuys Network Technology Co., Ltd.
